Immersion Foundation Inc.
Rooted in community, rising through innovation.
Founded in 2019 by Dr. Ijeoma “Doc” Ononuju, Immersion Foundation is a nonprofit organization housed at Estate Farms that provides a safe space for the cultivation of urban agriculture, STEAAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, Art, and Math) education, workforce development, and holistic health and wellness. The foundation also houses The BlackademX Academy, an initiative powered by Minty Educational Services that fuses entertainment, education, and culture to create transformative learning experiences that uplift communities and expand opportunities for youth and families.
We grow food, fuel learning, build community, and use edutainment to expand what’s possible for youth, culture, and collective impact.
